And if anyone is shy about saying they are pro-abortion, they have no place in our government. The time for half-hearted support of women's rights was the 18th century. I believe in economic security, safeguarding against inflation, and ensuring essential programs such as Social Security and Medicare are fully funded for the long-term. | |||

If you believe most Americans have ownership in corporations either directly or through their pension/retirement plans, then taxing corporations ensures we have a broad tax based. | |||

No one should die in this nation because of a lack of money. And no one should be made to pay their life's savings to fight a disease. | |||

No country has the right to exist; a nation is a responsibility. And we have been failing in our responsibility. | |||

However, exploitative relationships with other countries can deprive America of jobs and opportunities, while placing foreign populations into unsafe work with low pay. Governments and large corporations have the responsibility to ensure the world market is stable and fair. We need to make sure that the same standards for labor, environment, and human rights that apply in the U.S. apply to our foreign trading partners and foreign-operating corporations. | |||
